Know Your Rider

A nice outtake from the Byrds’ album 5th Dimension, found on the 1996 reissue of the album. Apparently the song was somewhat of a response to the Beatles’ “Ticket To Ride.”  It sounds a lot like the early Byrds, with the emphasis on jangle, harmony, and rock, though much of 5th Dimension leans away from the band’s origins towards psychedelics and country rock.
