If It’s Monday Morning

This is a pleasing bit of Monday-centric country sadness from Lee Hazlewood, who is probably best known for writing some big country-pop hits for the likes of Nancy Sinatra. It’s off his 1971 album Requiem For An Almost Lady, a 25 minute post-breakup record full of Hazlewood’s dry spoken interludes and sad jokes.
